In this role, you will work closely with system engineers and developers to build scalable monitoring capabilities, integrate multiple data sources, and deliver actionable insights through modern observability tooling. What You’ll Do Develop and enhance features for a metrics and monitoring platform supporting mission systems Build and maintain a centralized health and status dashboard Integrate and correlate metrics, events, and reports from multiple data sources Implement alerting and monitoring capabilities using modern observability tools Containerize mission applications using Docker and Kubernetes Support DevOps best practices and ensure policies are integrated throughout the application stack Develop RESTful APIs and message schemas for system integration Optimize applications to run in resource-constrained environments Create shareable versions of applications for partner environments Conduct performance assessments and ensure platforms meet operational requirements Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Four additional years of SWE experience may substitute for degree) 20+ years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity Experience with React Experience with Go (GoLang) Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with OpenTelemetry Familiarity with Git-based development workflows Preferred Skills Experience with Grafana Experience with Linux environments and bash scripting Experience building observability or monitoring platforms Experience integrating metrics, telemetry, and alerting systems Salary $225,000 - $250,000 per year
