Position Overview The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and support proprietary SaaS platforms used by industrial producers and operational facilitators across construction-related sectors.  This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, business logic, and global operations. You will design and deliver highly available, high-transaction systems while navigating complex business rules, global / regional regulations & requirements, and client-specific workflows. In addition to strong technical expertise, this role requires the ability to analyze real-world operational objectives & constraints, translate them into scalable solutions, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, strategic partners, and client stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain high-performance SaaS applications utilizing advanced technologies including JavaScript, React, Node.js within an AWS ecosystem. Develop cloud-native services using modern serverless and microservices architectures. Own initiative lifecycle from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support. Design and implement complex business rules and analytical workflows to ensure accurate and reliable system development and delivery. Provide technical guidance within an Agile / Scrum team through architectural input, hands-on development, and peer code reviews. Collaborate closely with business and client stakeholders, as well as technical teams, to ensure seamless platform development, integration, and ongoing support. Support vast globalization and localization initiatives including regionally specific workflows, regulatory and compliance requirements, and customer specific customization. Requirements Include: Demonstrated expertise developing across JavaScript, React, Node.js, HTML, and CSS environments. Experience building applications on AWS utilizing Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora / PostgreSQL, and CloudWatch. Solid understanding of Microservices architectures and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Material UI, AG Grid, AG Charts, and Storybook is a plus. Previous experience with AI-native code editors like Cursor is desired. International application development experience supporting software utilized across multiple countries and regions. Prior experience designing and implementing complex business logic and analytical workflows. Experience collaborating with globally dispersed development teams is a plus. Previous experience within commercial construction, industrial manufacturing, logistics / supply chain, or fleet services is a plus. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, strategic partners, and client organizations.
