Location Remote (U.S.) Full-Time What we're looking for We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in Integrations to help build the connective tissue between our AI platform and the diverse e-commerce ecosystems of our retail partners. You'll design and implement robust integration solutions that enable seamless data flow between our recommendation engine and various retail platforms, inventory systems, and marketing tools. Your expertise in API development, data transformation, and integration patterns will be crucial as we scale our technology across multiple retail partners. The ideal candidate brings strong software engineering fundamentals, experience building integration frameworks, and a passion for creating reliable, scalable connection points between systems. You'll work closely with our customer solutions team and retail partners to ensure smooth implementation and reliable data exchange. Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data integration solutions between our AI platform and diverse e-commerce platforms Develop robust ETL processes and synchronization mechanisms for product, inventory, and customer data Create and maintain RESTful APIs with comprehensive documentation for third-party consumption Establish integration patterns and reusable components to accelerate onboarding new retail partners Build and optimize data connectors for various e-commerce platforms (Shopify, SFCC, custom systems, etc.) Implement robust error handling, retry mechanisms, and monitoring for mission-critical data flows Develop and maintain integration SDKs and client libraries to improve partner onboarding experiences Create comprehensive testing frameworks for end-to-end integration validation Collaborate with customer success teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges Research emerging integration technologies and standards relevant to retail technology Qualifications 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on integration solutions Strong programming skills in Python, NodeJS with experience building integration frameworks Experience with modern integration patterns, messaging systems, and API design (REST, GraphQL, webhooks) Demonstrated ability to design and implement ETL processes and data synchronization mechanisms Demonstrated experience building and scaling applications using modern frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Express, etc.) In-depth knowledge of database design, optimization, and query performance Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their APIs (Shopify, SFCC, WooCommerce, etc.) Proficiency with cloud architecture (GCP preferred) and serverless technologies Knowledge of data transformation, validation, and normalization techniques Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex integration issues Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with partners and customer success teams Positive attitude that contributes to our friendly, global team culture Preferred Qualifications Experience with e-commerce integrations and retail data models Knowledge of OAuth and other authentication/authorization protocols Background in developing SDK/client libraries for third-party developers Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.) Familiarity with data streaming technologies Experience with multiple cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) Why Join Us?
