Backed by venture funding and led by an experienced founding team, this is an opportunity to join a high-impact, product-driven engineering team at an early stage.

What You Will Do
Design, build, and scale backend systems that power AI-driven healthcare workflows

Develop and integrate services that interact with LLMs and generative AI models

Take ownership of zero-to-one projects, from rapid prototyping to production-grade systems

Improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and overall backend architecture

Collaborate closely with engineers and leadership in a flat, fast-moving team structure

Contribute to core product development as the platform expands to new customers and use cases

Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability

Ideal Candidate Background
5+ years of experience in backend or backend-leaning full-stack engineering

Strong proficiency in Python and experience building scalable backend services

Experience working in early-stage startups (Pre-seed to Series B)

Demonstrated ownership of projects from concept to production

Experience building systems that interact with APIs, data pipelines, or distributed services

Strong understanding of system design, performance, and reliability

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment

Preferred
Experience working with LLMs, generative AI, or AI-enabled products

Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure (AWS), containers (Docker), and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Exposure to healthcare or regulated environments

Experience with TypeScript or frontend frameworks (React / React Native)

Strong product mindset with a focus on user impact

Compensation and Benefits
Competitive base salary: $170,000 – $230,000

Equity: 0.1% – 0.2%
