Job Summary

Accorria is seeking an experienced Playwright Automation Engineer to build and maintain production browser automation workflows (not QA test suites). You’ll use Playwright to automate real web interactions, multi-step posting workflows, file uploads, dynamic forms, modals, and session persistence while keeping runs stable as UIs change. This role is focused on Playwright-driven workflow automation integrated into our system with clear debugging artifacts (logs/screenshots/traces) when failures occur.

Qualifications (Required)

3–7+ years building automation or workflow systems
2+ years Playwright (required)
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience building browser automation workflows that interact with real web UIs (beyond test-only use)
Experience with authentication flows + session/state persistence (cookies, tokens, Playwright storageState)
Experience automating responsive/mobile web flows or handling viewport-specific UI differences (mobile awareness required)
Strong debugging mindset and stability focus (anti-flake, production reliability)
Experience with at least one: Puppeteer OR Cypress OR Selenium (required)
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills (Nice to have)

Strong DOM inspection skills using DevTools + Playwright Inspector (selectors/locators/debugging)
Agent-style execution patterns (local runner, job loops, status callbacks)
CI/CD familiarity (helpful, not required)
Cloud familiarity (GCP/AWS/Azure) is a plus
Prior startup / rapid execution engineering experience
Responsibilities

Build and maintain end-to-end Playwright automation across production browser workflows on online platforms
Develop automated workflows for posting, validation, UI interaction, and multi-step forms (including uploads and dynamic states)
Implement robust locator strategies to reduce breakage and survive UI drift
Handle authentication and session persistence (including storageState and re-auth flows when needed)
Design safe reliability patterns: timeouts, retries, step validation, and clear failure behavior
Produce strong debugging signals for runs: structured errors, logs, screenshots, and Playwright traces
Integrate workflows into a job run pipeline with clear status reporting and failure artifacts
Document automation flows for reproducibility and team onboarding
