Full Job Description
We’re hiring a Senior LAMP Engineer to help maintain and modernize a mission‑critical SaaS application. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys improving legacy systems, writing clean and reliable code, and bringing discipline to how software is built and deployed. All applicants must be a US Citizen or resident fully authorized to work in the United States, and pass a clean background check.

What You’ll Do

Extend and maintain our PHP‑based REST API
Develop MySQL queries, stored procedures, and performance improvements
Enhance and debug our HTML/JavaScript/jQuery front end
Support deployments across cloud and customer environments
Maintain clean Git repos and enforce solid branching/PR practices
Improve configuration hygiene, secrets handling, and environment separation
Write Bash/Python scripts for automation and troubleshooting
Contribute to documentation and runbooks
What You Bring

3+ years LAMP experience
Expert PHP and strong MySQL (including stored procedures)
Solid REST API experience
Strong JavaScript/jQuery
Bash scripting
Strong Git fundamentals
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Python experience
Nice to Have

Secrets management (Vault, AWS SSM, etc.)
CentOS/RHEL + SELinux familiarity
Plaid integration experience
Exposure to Ansible/Terraform
Monitoring/alerting experience
Fintech or compliance‑heavy background
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
