Job Description: Ownership: Plan, build, and maintain all internal and client-facing applications independently while ensuring performance and scalability.
System Integration: Manage integrations between the core tech stack and third-party tools including Stripe, Zendesk, Vimeo, and Campaign Monitor.
Data Infrastructure: Optimize and scale PostgreSQL databases to support research data and AI-driven analyst projects.
Deployment & Reliability: Maintain high-availability AWS server environments and ensure stable deployments across Development, Staging, and Production.
Platform Maintenance & Collaboration: Ensure the security and performance of WordPress-based content systems and collaborate with research teams to align tools with core objectives and compliance requirements.


Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack delivery
Skills:
Expert-level Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
Strong frontend proficiency (React, Next.js, or Vue)
AWS experience (EC2, RDS, containerized workloads)
PostgreSQL database management
Multi-environment deployment management (Dev, Staging, Production)
WordPress maintenance and API integrations
Certifications: None required
Other: Demonstrated ability to operate independently as a sole or lead developer under deadline pressure


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in financial technology, market data, or investment research platforms
Advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Familiarity with financial media or data compliance frameworks
