Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our platform engineering team. This role focuses on designing and building end to end product features across frontend, backend, and data systems for our AI powered platform. You will work on staff facing user interfaces, real time interaction experiences, workflow driven applications, backend services, and data pipelines that enable effective human and AI collaboration.

This role requires strong full stack expertise, sound architectural judgment, and the ability to own complex features from UI through APIs and data models. You will lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate closely with frontend, backend, ML, and product teams to deliver scalable, production grade AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Feature Development

Design and implement end to end features spanning frontend, backend, and data layers
Build complete user flows that integrate user interfaces with backend services
Implement real time data synchronization between frontend and backend systems
Own feature delivery from design through production
Frontend Architecture and Development

Architect and build scalable React and TypeScript applications for production use
Develop staff facing console experiences, dashboards, and real time interaction interfaces
Create workflow visualization and monitoring UIs for long running and real time processes
Design state management patterns for complex, event driven workflows
Deliver responsive, accessible UI components aligned with modern design systems
Optimize frontend performance for real time and high scale applications
Backend Architecture and Service Development

Design and implement backend services using Rust, Go, Node.js, or Python
Architect and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for frontend and third party integrations
Build backend systems supporting workflow orchestration and complex state driven logic
Implement services supporting AI decision processing, governance, and safety layers
Data and Event Driven Systems

Design and optimize relational data models using PostgreSQL
Architect unstructured data systems including vector, document, and time series storage
Design and implement event driven architectures using Kafka or similar platforms
Build reliable producer and consumer services with fault tolerance and replay support
Support analytics, reporting, and observability through aggregation pipelines and APIs
Technical Leadership and Collaboration

Lead full stack architecture decisions and establish best practices
Mentor junior and mid level engineers and conduct code reviews
Collaborate with frontend engineers on UI architecture and API contracts
Partner with ML engineers on AI integration patterns
Maintain architectural documentation and technical decision records
Performance, Reliability, and Scalability

Optimize frontend and backend performance for scalability and resilience
Implement caching strategies and resource optimization across the stack
Design systems for horizontal scaling and fault tolerance
Contribute to observability, monitoring, and operational readiness
Required Experience

10 or more years of professional software engineering experience
Strong experience building and operating full stack systems in production
Proficiency with React and TypeScript for frontend development
Strong backend experience using one or more of Rust, Go, Node.js, or Python
Expert understanding of API design, asynchronous programming, and concurrency
Extensive experience with relational database design and optimization
Experience working with distributed systems and event driven architectures
Strong architectural skills and ability to lead technical decisions
Experience mentoring engineers and owning complex systems
Preferred Experience

Experience building AI powered or data intensive platforms
Familiarity with vector databases, RAG systems, and analytics pipelines
Experience with workflow orchestration systems and real time platforms
Deep experience with Kafka or similar event streaming technologies
Exposure to observability, performance monitoring, and reliability tooling
Experience building enterprise or multi tenant SaaS systems
Technical Stack

Our stack includes React and TypeScript on the frontend and Rust, Go, Node.js, and Python services on the backend, with PostgreSQL and Redis for data storage, Kafka for event streaming, workflow orchestration integrations, and modern tooling for testing, observability, and deployment. Experience with some but not all technologies is expected
