We're looking for a DevOps Engineer who will help Startups to bring cloud platforms to scale as we help founders to make their products become a reality. We have an ever-growing roadmap comprised of interesting work throughout our platform’s stack and are searching for the right people to help us. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Configuring, provisioning, maintaining and optimizing our Cloud infrastructures (Mostly AWS).
Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability. 
Conduct regular billing audits and make recommendations that will help reduce cloud infrastructure costs.
Help consolidate enterprise best practices for:
Infrastructure as Code
CI/CD pipelines
Security, secrets management, and RBAC
API governance & integration patterns

Required Technical Skills 

5+ years experience configuring and managing Cloud infrastructure environments in AWS 
Deep proficiency with cloud IaC (infrastructure as code) tools - Terraform strongly preferred
Experience with K8s (Kubernetes), Docker & Git
Experience with ArgoCD for deployments and GitHub Actions for CI pipelines
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
Knowledge of DNS and CDN technologies like Route53, Cloudflare/Cloudfront. 
Knowledge with serverless environments (e.g. AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, or similar technologies) 
Experience implementing infrastructure security best practices. 
Strategic Skills  

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
Security mindset 
Extreme Ownership & Initiative
Adaptability and experience working with larger / multiple teams to review and deliver code.
 

This remote role is based in Costa Rica and only open to citizens and permanent residents of Costa Rica who do not need visa sponsorship.
