We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our infrastructure automation and deployment efforts. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline our development and deployment processes, ensuring high availability and performance of our systems. Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure automation solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes.
Monitor system performance and reliability, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and scalability.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect our infrastructure and data.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the DevOps team.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with demonstrated progression to senior or leadership positions.
Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
