Job Summary: The Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Systems Engineer is a key technical leader responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of brightfin’s global IT environment. This role oversees administration of core SaaS platforms, cloud services, identity infrastructure, endpoint management tools, monitoring systems, and security technologies. We’re looking for a versatile technical professional with diverse experience managing modern, cloud‑based technical infrastructure, as well as staff devices, using efficient and best practices. Extensive Microsoft 365 experience is a must, AWS and ITOPs-related AI experience are a big plus. Essential Functions / Duties / Responsibilities: Systems Administration & Platform Ownership Administer and optimize enterprise systems including Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, AWS, Atlassian, JumpCloud, NinjaOne, and other platforms in use across the organization. Use NinjaOne, Intune and PatchMyPC for endpoint monitoring, patching, remote management, and automation. Manage the configuration, availability, and performance of all SaaS and back‑end systems. Provide senior‑level support for escalated issues across infrastructure and SaaS applications. Identity, Access & Endpoint Management Manage Microsoft Entra identities, conditional access, MFA, SSO, RBAC, and lifecycle processes. Administer device management across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, using Intune, NinjaOne and PatchMyPC. Administer endpoint protection, using CrowdStrike, Netskope and other tools. Security & Compliance Operations Support ISO 27001, SOC 2, and internal Information Security policies. Perform vulnerability remediation, endpoint security tuning, and audit evidence preparation. Assist in responding to system‑related security incidents and coordinating root‑cause analysis. Cloud, Infrastructure & Monitoring Administer cloud integrations, authentication flows, and resource management across AWS and major SaaS systems. Utilize monitoring platforms, such as Sumo Logic, to ensure visibility, logging, and alerts. Maintain backups, high‑availability configurations, and system performance tuning. Process Improvement & Automation Strengthen IT operational maturity through improved change management, configuration management, and documentation. Build automation using scripts, workflows, and infrastructure tooling to streamline operations. Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Vendor Management Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Operations, Finance, and Security teams on system integrations, requirements, and planning. Manage vendor and partner relationships with organizations such as ServiceNow, AWS, Atlassian, Netskope, and others in brightfin’s technology ecosystem. Support procurement, renewals, and optimization of licensed software and managed services. Minimum Qualifications: 5–8+ years of enterprise IT systems administration experience. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, AWS, ServiceNow, Atlassian, or equivalent enterprise technologies. Professional certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, ITIL) preferred. Experience with endpoint management, identity governance, security administration, and cloud operations. Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Technical Skills Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 identity management, including conditional access and MFA. Skilled in administering SaaS platforms including Microsoft 365, AWS, ServiceNow, Atlassian, NinjaOne, and related tools. Experienced with enterprise security tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender Ability to troubleshoot SaaS, network, endpoint, and hardware issues. Operational & Interpersonal Skills Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and incident management skills. Excellent communication skills and customer‑service orientation.
