Job summary
We’re building a mobile-first digital finance platform currently in beta. As we scale, we’re strengthening our backend infrastructure and seeking a Senior Laravel Backend Engineer. If you’ve built secure transaction systems, wallet infrastructure, or fintech integrations, we’d love to hear from you.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize backend services using Laravel
Architect and maintain secure transaction workflows and wallet systems
Integrate APIs for payments, crypto/blockchain services, and third-party fintech tools.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs consumed by our Flutter mobile app.
Implement queue systems for transaction processing and background jobs.
Ensure high-level security, performance, and scalability.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot bugs, system bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
Participate in backend architecture decisions as we move from beta to scale.


Requirements:

Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel (3+ years professional experience).
Proven experience working on fintech, payments, crypto, or blockchain-integrated systems.
Solid understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture.
Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of transaction safety (idempotency, race conditions, atomic operations).
Experience with queues (Laravel Queue + Redis/RabbitMQ).
Understanding of financial app security best practices.
Familiarity with blockchain APIs or crypto wallet systems.
Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
Ability to work independently and contribute to architectural discussions.


Nice to Have:

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
Understanding of KYC/AML compliance systems.
Experience handling high-traffic or transaction-heavy systems.
Experience writing automated tests (PHPUnit).
