Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for robot telemetry and environment monitoring.
Partner with strategic clients to customize and extend the platform, ensuring smooth integration into their existing operations.
Own end-to-end engineering initiatives, from scoping and design to rapid prototyping and iterative delivery.
Act as a trusted technical advisor, identifying opportunities for improvement based on real-world use cases.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, ops, and support teams to refine features and enhance user experiences.
Document architecture, best practices, and provide internal enablement through workshops and technical write-ups.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience with Python, C++, ROS, and Node.js.
Minimum 2 years in robotics or autonomous system development.
Proven record in customer-facing engineering roles, with a focus on robotics or autonomy.
Rapid prototyping and iterative delivery with external stakeholders is second nature.
Strong foundation in network, cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and database-backed REST APIs.
Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for varied audiences.
Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients as needed.
Bonus: Experience with multiple database systems and creating SDKs, integration libraries, or internal tooling that reduces service cycle time.
