Job Title: Senior Backend Developer Company Name: ProFocus Technology Job Url: https://www.profocustechnology.com/echojobs/sr-backend-developer-saas-net-azure-sql-3409/#!/job-details Job Description: Sr Backend Developer - Saas, .NET, Azure, Razor Pages Location: Remote (available to work PST hours) Compensation: Target pay for this role is W-2 $65-75/hr with some flex depending on experience along with great benefits Engagement Type: W-2 contract to hire (conversion between 6-8 months) Target Start Date: March 2, 2026 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING This is a senior-level role for an experienced .NET engineer who wants to help scale a cloud-based SaaS platform.  Responsibilities include: • Work on both platform support and enhancement initiatives as well as net-new projects • Contribute to a cloud-based SaaS platform following a recent migration from desktop to cloud • Participate in daily stand-ups and a Kanban-based workflow with continuous releases • Collaborate with product owners as needed • Rotate across feature sets to support knowledge transfer and shared ownership •  Help influence system and application architecture WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR Ideal Must Haves: • 8+ years of professional Agile software development experience, including non-enterprise sized settings  • Strong expertise in C# and .NET (currently on .NET 10) • Experience building high-performance Web APIs (REST or RPC patterns) • 2+ years of Azure Cloud experience • SQL/T-SQL database experience • Ability to participate in architecture discussions • Knowledge of software, data security, and data privacy practices Strong Nice to Haves: • Familiarity with frontend/UI development (Vue.js preferred or React.js) • Experience with Razor Pages • Azure DevOps (Build & Release pipelines) • Experience in highly regulated industries (insurance, financial services, healthcare, etc...)
