Job Title: Senior Application Programmer Company Name: iOPEX Technologies Job Url: https://www1.jobdiva.com/portal/?a=49jdnwkx22q74pesekl2cxv3mvwd2001e2owuig29bcyw6i4k7ij89vev6eao57x&jr_id=69c1f47a79e36d3a847f0e4b#/jobs/27827255 Job Description: Job Description Title: Senior Application Programmer Location: Remote, LA Duration: 3 years Job Description: The scope of the proposed services will include the following: ● Development, administration & configuration of a custom-built .NET development project. ● Provide oversight and guidance of the customer-agency's replacement software and make performance improvements. ● Perform code reviews and testing on new code. ● Participation in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies. ● Cooperation with LDWF's Technical Architect and other OTS technical teams to ensure compliance with OTS standards of State applications. ● Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance to State personnel for all requested work. ● Performs all other tasks, special projects, analysis, studies, and plans as directed. Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory: ● Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas: o C# o ASP.NET Core o MSSQL ● Five (5) plus years of enterprise-level software development Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory: ● Has led a team of developers under Microsoft development stack ● Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue, React, NodeJS, Angular, Typescript ● Experience designing and developing distributed systems (Microservices/SOA) ● Experience developing reports with SSRS or similar tools ● Experience setting up, maintaining and using DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automating tasks ● Experience with the Git Version Control System, including branching strategies for complex systems ● Two (2) plus years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment Work Environment Primarily remote within the United States May require onsite support at Louisiana Office locations Work hours typically aligned to 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM CT Flexibility required for deadlines, weekends, and extended hours when needed Long-term engagement (~3 years)   Deliverables Development and deployment of modernized applications Code quality assurance and performance improvements Weekly status reporting (as required) Documentation and knowledge transfer Compliance with standards and security requirements   Compliance & Requirements Must comply with State of Louisiana IT security policies Must adhere to confidentiality and data protection standards May work in environments involving sensitive or regulated data Strong verbal and written communication skills required
