Job Title: Senior Application Programmer (Power Platform Developer)
Duration: 2 years with possible extension
Location: Remote - Baton Rouge

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

) Application Development & Solution Design
.) Design, build, and maintain Power Platform solutions including:
1) Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps
2) Power Pages
3) Power Automate cloud flows and approvals
4) On-Prem and Cloud RDBMS and Dataverse data models, business rules, and security roles
5) Power BI reports and dashboards
6) Translate business and program requirements into scalable technical solutions.
7) Develop reusable components, patterns, and templates aligned with OTS standards.
8) Provide knowledge transfer and training to in-house developers.
) Integration & Architecture
.) Integrate Power Platform solutions with:
1) Microsoft 365 services
2) Dynamics 365 (where applicable)
3) Azure services
4) External systems via connectors and APIs
.) Apply best practices for:
1) Performance
2) Scalability
3) Maintainability

) Governance, Security & Compliance
.) Implement:
1) Role-based security
2) Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
3) Environment strategies
.) Ensure solutions comply with Louisiana OTS standards and applicable federal and state regulations including:

.) Support:
1) Audits

) Mandatory Skills & Experience
.) 5+ years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including:
1) Power Apps
2) Power Automate
3) On-Prem and Cloud RDBMS
4) Dataverse
5) Power BI
.) 5+ years of strong experience in:
1) Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
2) Environment strategy (Dev / Test / Prod)
3) Deployment and troubleshooting
4) Security and role-based access control
5) SQL Queries
6) 5+ years of experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs.
7) Ability to work independently across multiple projects in a shared-services environment.

) Desired / Preferred Skills
1) Experience with Copilot Studio or conversational AI platforms.
2) Experience working in government, public sector, or regulated environments.
3) Experience with MS SQL Server.
.) Familiarity with:
1) Dynamics 365
