This position involves working on a team environment developing web applications for the automotive industry, using the latest technologies in Azure cloud. As part of the DMS team, you have a unique opportunity to join an exciting, dynamic and closely interactive group of people, whose focus is to power the tools that run car dealerships and create robust browser-based user interface functionality, using the latest developments in front-end technology. This position will be responsible for working with interaction architects and other front-end engineers to implement the web experience. This is a remote position, and candidates must be able to travel as needed. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage, maintain, and extend highly scalable enterprise web applications Develop robust and user-friendly .NET-based web applications supporting accounting workflows such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and audit-ready data integrity Contribute to other programming projects and cross-functional teams Perform SQL Server T-SQL development Participate in application and framework design as needed. Mentor and coach other team members Perform routine maintenance and enhancements of existing applications Participate in daily scrum meetings and other agile ceremonies Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to translate accounting and financial requirements into technical solutions Perform other duties as required by management EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience 5+ years of programming experience 1+ years of programming experience with VUE.js Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and common design patterns Ability to coach other developers on best practices Thorough knowledge of C#, ASP, ASP.NET, and SQL Server Solid experience with JavaScript and jQuery Practical experience updating and styling pages using HTML5 and CSS Knowledge of XML, JSON, SOAP and REST web services Experience working on Single Page Applications using JavaScript MVC Frameworks Experience with source control like GitHub Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools Experience developing or supporting accounting, financial, or data-intensive business systems strongly preferred Prior experience in mentoring developers or acting in a technical or team lead capacity ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Self-motivated and proactive Strong analytical and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong organizational and time management skills Solid understanding of business and financial processes Interest in career growth toward people management This role offers a compensation of approximately $100,000/ annually.
