Duties

Design, develop, and implement retrieval-augmented generation models to improve information retrieval and natural language understanding.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RAG systems into existing AI platforms and workflows.
Optimize retrieval algorithms for speed, accuracy, and scalability across various data sources and formats.
Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of RAG models to ensure robustness, reliability, and high-quality outputs.
Stay abreast of emerging trends in quantum engineering and related fields to incorporate innovative techniques into RAG solutions.
Document technical processes, model architectures, and deployment procedures clearly for team knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to model performance, data inconsistencies, or integration challenges.
Skills

Proven experience in developing retrieval-augmented generation models or similar natural language processing (NLP) systems.
Strong programming skills in Python, along with familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Deep understanding of information retrieval techniques, vector databases, and data indexing methods.
Knowledge of quantum engineering principles and their application within AI systems is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with an analytical mindset focused on innovation and efficiency.
Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly across teams.
