Job Description: Palco is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester II to join our growing team. This is a remote, work-from-home position. The QA Tester II plays a key role in ensuring software releases meet business and technical specifications, are free of defects, and are ready for production deployment. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to lead testing efforts across multiple projects. The QA Tester II is a subject matter expert in assigned areas and contributes to process improvement and mentoring junior testers.

Essential Functions
Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and system enhancements.
Lead regression testing efforts to ensure stability across releases.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve design issues.
Document and manage detailed defect reports, including reproduction steps and severity assessments.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Maintain and enhance automated UI and API test suites.
Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
Contribute to the development and documentation of QA processes and standards.
Mentor junior QA testers and support their professional development.

Education and Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an IT discipline or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in software QA testing, preferably in healthcare or financial services.
Experience working in Agile frameworks and cross-functional teams.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, Playwright preferred.
