Job Overview

Precision Technologies Corp (PTC) is seeking a skilled Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend development using Python frameworks and a solid understanding of building high-performance APIs and data-driven applications. This role involves developing robust backend services, integrating APIs, and collaborating with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python
Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Implement business logic, data processing, and integration with databases
Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle
Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability
Integrate third-party services, APIs, and external systems
Participate in system design discussions and architecture planning
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices
Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot/debug production issues
Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Prepare and maintain technical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in Python development
Proficiency with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM
Familiarity with data processing and scripting using Python
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization (preferred)
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methodologies
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
