Progress OpenEdge Software Developer

If you do NOT have experience using Progress OpenEdge (V11 or V12) and Progress App Server (PASOE), do not apply.

CashierPRO, based out of Stratford, Ontario, is a leading provider of Point-of-Sale/Inventory Management systems, designed specifically for small-to-mid size Hardware, Home Improvement, Farm and Building Supply retailers across North America.

Due to our strong and continued growth, we currently are looking for a full-time
(or contract if candidate prefers) Progress Software Developer to work on assorted projects with us, working from a remote location (preference to any candidates in close proximity to our office would be shown).

Required Qualifications and Experience

Relevant Post-Secondary Education, ideally in Software Engineering, Computer Science – or relevant experience with Software Development
Must be able to produce documentation of your work
Strong Progress OpenEdge experience required, PASOE experience would be an asset
Experience in programming for Accounting/Sales/Inventory Management systems strongly required.
