In this role, you’ll guide solution design, influence platform direction, and ensure technology delivery aligns with business objectives across multiple teams and systems. You’ll work across mainframe and distributed platforms, collaborating with architecture teams and organizational partners to drive complex initiatives that advance the payments platform.   This is a remote position for US based work only.   Must-have qualifications   Minimum of 11 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications. {OR} Completion of a technical training program and a minimum of 8 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications. {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and a minimum of 8 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications. Preferred skills   Proven experience driving improvements aligned to technical strategy across multiple systems, influencing outcomes beyond a single team, and guiding short- and long-term roadmaps aligned to business needs. Strong integration and API design skills, with hands-on experience in mainframe technologies (e.g., COBOL, DB2) and distributed systems (C#, Cloud). Proven ability to collaborate on system design, modernization, and integration strategies, with expertise in creating functional and technical specifications. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, including senior leaders; skilled at explaining complex technical concepts and the rationale behind decisions. Experience in providing technical direction, delegating work, coordinating delivery, mentoring others and supporting cross‑team work with transparency and adaptability.
