Position Overview Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Platforms Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise management platform that supports the entire Lanteris software team. This role will be critical to both our CMMC compliance efforts and our broader platform engineering strategy. This role may be based remotely in the US or in Palo Alto, CA. You will be responsible for deploying and maintaining GitLab and other software platforms using Crossplane, Kubernetes and AWS. The platform team leverages Crossplane to provision and manage AWS infrastructure for programs across the organization. As a member of our platform team, you'll design and maintain multiple DevOps pipelines and platforms that integrate and deploy components into our system infrastructure across multiple networks and cloud architectures. Principal Responsibilities Deploy and maintain GitLab infrastructure using Crossplane in Kubernetes Utilize GitOps tooling to provision and rollout AWS infrastructure for programs, as well as debug and resolve issues with provisioned services Design, implement, and maintain platform services including management infrastructure, CI/CD infrastructure, observability, security, and software packaging/storage/workflow Implement CI/CD solutions to support rapid development and integration across the Lanteris software team Maintain CI/CD pipelines as a service, integrating static code analysis, security mechanisms, and enablement solutions Collaborate with software and system engineers to apply automated testing, documentation processes, and CI/CD best practices Troubleshoot and resolve network, automation pipeline, and infrastructure issues Build, maintain, and monitor configuration management of release products Minimum Requirements Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree Python experience Experience working in an Agile environment Preferred Qualifications Strong experience with Kubernetes, preferably including Crossplane or other automated deployment tools for Kubernetes AWS Solutions Architect or other relevant cloud certifications Experience with distributed processing methods and tools (REST APIs, micro-services, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) Experience with hybrid large-scale infrastructure (multi-cloud and on-premises) Experience with Java, Python, and JavaScript build ecosystems Experience deploying and maintaining GitLab at enterprise scale In support of pay transparency at Lanteris Space Systems, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $66,000.00 - $111,000.00 annually. The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $66,000.00 - $111,000.00 annually. The base pay for this position within Delaware is: $66,000.00 - $111,000.00 annually. The base pay for this position within California is: $77,000.00 - $128,000.00 annually. For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
