Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OpenText AppWorks Developer to design, develop, enhance, debug, and deploy software changes for the CMTARS application. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in OpenText technologies, ensuring high-quality development, integration, and maintenance of enterprise applications. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, performing regression testing, and participating in configuration control processes to ensure system stability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, debug, and deploy software changes to the CMTARS application.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OpenText AppWorks and related OpenText products.
Perform regression testing for all code changes and deliver results within 5 business days.
Collaborate with the AFRBA Configuration Control Board (CCB) for monthly change review meetings.
Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical designs and application solutions.
Develop, test, and maintain application functionality using OpenText AppWorks frameworks and tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while ensuring system stability and performance.
Ensure compliance with DoD SDLC processes, security standards, and best practices.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and configuration management processes.
Support system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with other enterprise platforms.
Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience with OpenText AppWorks implementation and development.
Strong experience with JavaScript and Marionette frameworks.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
Hands-on experience with OpenText AppWorks platform architecture and customization.
Experience performing full regression testing and software validation.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and configuration management processes.
Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
