Job Description: We are seeking a Mobile/Frontend AI Software Engineer to join our engineering team to build user-facing solutions that power our digital health platform and help the platform grow. This role focuses on owning, designing, and implementing client-side applications, shaping the frontend strategy while creating seamless user experiences in close collaboration with backend services and APIs.
YOUR MISSION
Development
Own and build responsive and intuitive mobile-first user interfaces using React and React Native
Drive the implementation of modern UI/UX designs with strong attention to accessibility and performance
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services
Optimize application performance and implement efficient state management
Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Expo and React Native
Engineering Tools
AI-assisted development: Ability to effectively use AI tools in daily development work
System Architecture & Integration
Own and shape frontend architectures that scale from web to mobile
Integrate third-party APIs and services
Implement real-time features using WebSockets
Infrastructure & Deployment
Work with cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP) to support frontend applications
Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines impacting frontend delivery
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot frontend-related issues
Ensure security best practices in frontend implementation
Collaboration & Quality
Take full ownership of the quality of the produced frontend outcome
Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to shape frontend solutions
Set, uphold, and evolve frontend quality standards through code reviews
Write comprehensive technical documentation
YOUR BACKGROUND
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field OR equivalent work experience with a strong technical portfolio
7+ years of product development experience with a strong frontend focus
Experience with growth techniques
Experience with testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end)
Experience with performance optimization and monitoring tools
Experience with mobile-first development and responsive design
