We appreciate the individuality of the people around us.   JOB SUMMARY: As a Microsoft 365 Identity Engineer, you will provide engineering and transformation expertise to modernize the environment. You will be responsible for solutions design of the modernization cloud environment. Working with a team to plan, review requirements, design, and develop the most optimal and secure cloud-based solutions. Engineer must have exceptional problem-solving skills and have a greater understanding of the code base to identify and solve issues before an issue becomes systematic. The engineer must stay current with best practices, industry standards, and make recommendations as needed. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Support tickets related to: Login/authentication issues (MFA, lockouts, access failures) M365 services (mail, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive) Manage onboarding/offboarding across AD, Okta, and M365 Investigate and resolve policy-related issues (DLP, compliance, device policies) Collaborate with adjacent teams (security, networking, endpoint) as needed Maintain documentation and support audit/compliance requests CORE PLATFORMS: Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive Mailbox management, shared mailboxes, distribution groups Teams access, policies, and external collaboration troubleshooting Mail flow investigation and user access issues Identity & Access (AD / Okta / Entra) User lifecycle management across AD, Okta, and M365 Federation (SSO) and MFA troubleshooting Group-based access and provisioning flows Understanding of sync and identity flow across systems Security, Compliance & Device Management Intune iOS device compliance and enrollment troubleshooting Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies Retention and data governance validation Conditional Access / Identity Security MFA enforcement and access controls Troubleshooting access restrictions tied to device or policy REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 1-4 years demonstrated Cloud Engineering experience  Strong understanding of hybrid identity environments Ability to troubleshoot across AD → Okta → Entra → M365 flow Familiarity with SSO, federation, and MFA behavior Experience supporting compliance-driven environments Clear communication and documentation skills PowerShell (Exchange Online, basic Graph usage) Familiarity with audit logs (Purview / Entra) Experience in regulated or government environments EDUCATION: Bachelors with  1+ YOE LOCATION: Full Time/ Remote SALARY RANGE: $100,000 to $125,000 PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
