This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are eager to learn, enjoy working with data, and want to grow their skills on a modern data platform using Microsoft Fabric. You will work alongside experienced data engineers and BI developers, gaining hands-on experience building data pipelines, supporting analytics, and learning best practices in a high-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, OneLake). Support data ingestion from various sources into analytics-ready datasets. Write and optimize basic to intermediate SQL queries and PySpark. Help prepare data for Power BI reports and dashboards. Perform data validation and quality checks. Troubleshoot simple data pipeline and data issues with guidance. Document data processes and learn platform best practices. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. Translate business requirements into data models and visualizations. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and validate data. Create and maintain Power BI data models, DAX measures, and calculated fields. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure report accuracy. Requirements Qualifications and Educational Requirements: 0–2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related technical role (internships, academic projects, or bootcamp experience are welcome). Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases. Familiarity with data concepts (ETL, data pipelines, data models). Understanding of data modeling concepts. Familiarity with DAX fundamentals (measures, calculated columns). Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus. Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new tools and technologies. Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player with analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.. Preferred Skills : Knowledge of SQL queries, Python or Py-Spark. Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Academic or project experience with BI or analytics and AI. Understanding of data warehousing fundamentals. Power BI certification (PL-300) or working toward it.
