<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Internet/Web Engineer to join our tech team and drive the development of cutting-edge web applications and digital solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust web platforms that deliver seamless user experiences. Your expertise will help shape the architecture of our web services, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate developers eager to work on diverse projects, from e-commerce platforms to complex web services, utilizing a wide array of modern technologies. 9 month Project

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assess, design, develop, implement, and support the State’s Member Management project and
other assigned initiatives.

Provide production support and ongoing maintenance for newly developed technological
solutions.

Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level, web-based distributed systems supporting
large user populations.

Build responsive user interfaces using modern Web 2.0 technologies (e.g., AJAX) with support
for mobile and tablet devices.

Develop Java applications using industry-standard frameworks such as Spring.
Design systems for high availability, scalability, and performance, incorporating services where
appropriate.

Follow modern software development best practices across the full project lifecycle, from
requirements analysis and design through testing and deployment.

Utilize integrated development environments (IDEs) and emphasize unit testing and code
quality.

Collaborate with business analysts and end users to translate business requirements into
incremental software development efforts.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including business users, analysts,
developers, DBAs, QA engineers, infrastructure teams, and support staff.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• 7+ years of experience with Tapestry

7+ years of experience with JavaScript
7+ years of experience with jQuery
7+ years of experience with EDI Transactions
7+ years of experience with JDB
Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
