Role: GRC Assessment and Authorization Workflow Developer Location: Remote (Must be available to work EST hours) Role Description: As a Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization Developer, you create solutions that automate tasks, simplify collaboration and work management, and improve process efficiencies related to enterprise information security risk and compliance. The ideal candidate uses Low Code Application Platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform to quickly build customized web applications that save time and simplify the everyday tasks required to achieve business and operational objectives. You work with tools like MS Power BI to facilitate business process automation, streamline repetitive tasks and paperless workflows, and connect data stored in various online and on-premises data sources to shape the future of data-driven decision making. You have experience working with modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.) for front-end and back-end development, data interchange formats (JSON, XML, CVS, etc.) for storing and transmitting structured data, and API rules and protocols for enabling efficient communication between systems. Your methodical solution development approach is organized around Agile best practices and project management tools such as Jira. You are an excellent communicator – carefully listening to stakeholders to understand needs, confidently speaking to solution possibilities and effectively demonstrating developed solutions. You welcome feedback as this enables continuous improvement. Along with application development skills, you have cybersecurity domain knowledge and understand the security control assessment process knowledge. Experience with the Cyber Security Assessment and Management (CSAM) system including familiarity with the CSAM API is a plus. You will work with Information Security and Compliance managers to understand current state security control assessment and authorization processes and solutions then develop or refine existing solutions across management and technical process areas. Improvement areas may include refining annual assessment scheduling and reporting, automating common control catalog maintenance, simplifying security control assessment tasks, streamlining assessment package authorization signoffs, and more. Duties include: Develop/document user stories, workflows and requirements Manage and prioritize requirements in Jira Develop and maintain sprint schedule Design, develop, test, deploy and support workflow automation solutions Support AI Chatbot deployments Demonstrate and refine solution features Maintain issue log Provide periodic progress/status reports Coordinate with stakeholder to obtain access to tools, test environments, data sets, etc. Qualifications: 4-year degree (Bachelor of Science Degree) from an accredited College or University in Business/Engineering Minimum of 8 years of experience spanning information security and application development, or Master's degree + 5 years of experience.
