Job Description: Solution Engineer / Full-Stack Software Developer (C#/.NET)

We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join a highly technical team working on complex, high-performance systems.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving hard problems, designing robust solutions, and getting hands-on across the full stack.

The Contract:
- Fully Remote (Europe)
- 12 Month Contract (Extension Likely)
- Standard B2B
- €450 Euro per day

What you’ll be doing
- Designing and building scalable, high-availability software solutions
- Working across backend, frontend, data, and cloud infrastructure
- Handling large data sets, real-time and multithreaded systems
- Contributing to solution architecture and technical decision-making
- Working in a mature Agile / DevOps environment (CI/CD, code reviews, testing)

Core technical experience
- 8+ years in software engineering and/or solution architecture
- Strong C#/.NET experience (WPF preferred)
- Advanced Python
- JavaScript with modern frameworks (e.g. React)
- SQL plus experience with unstructured data (e.g. MongoDB)
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs
- Strong grasp of distributed systems and system architecture
- Cloud experience, ideally Microsoft Azure

Nice to have / domain experience
- Financial mathematics or financial systems exposure
- Experience with Portfolio, Order, or Execution Management Systems
- Financial optimisation, factor modelling, or performance-critical systems
- Performance testing and profiling
- Columnar and/or relational databases
