Job Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Streaming Engineer to stabilize, optimize, and maintain a multi-platform television streaming network.

This role focuses on resolving backend/API and video playback issues while ensuring a scalable, production-ready system across Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Google/Android TV.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and fix backend, API, and streaming issues
Manage AWS infrastructure (Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFront, S3, EC2)
Ensure reliable video streaming (MP4, HLS, CDN delivery, range requests)
Maintain and improve Node.js/Express APIs
Support payment/auth systems (Amazon Appstore)
Optimize performance across all TV platforms
Troubleshoot 4xx/5xx errors and deployment failures
Implement logging, monitoring, and scalability solutions
Required Skills

Strong Node.js (Express) experience
AWS expertise: Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFront, S3, EC2
Video streaming knowledge (HLS, MP4, buffering, CDN)
OTT/CTV experience (Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV)
API debugging, logging, and deployment troubleshooting
Preferred

Experience with live streaming platforms
Subscription/paywall systems
Google Drive API or media storage systems
Ideal Candidate

Senior-level (5+ years)
Proven OTT/streaming experience
Strong problem solver, self-sufficient
Able to fix issues quickly and maintain long-term
Scope

Immediate: Fix backend + restore streaming
Ongoing: Optimize and maintain platform
Compensation
