This role demands expertise in modern frontend and backend technologies, with a particular focus on Python, React.js, Django, Azure, AWS, and Postgres. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, architect systems, and mentor junior developers. Key Responsibilities: The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to: Full Stack Development: Build, test, and deploy scalable web applications using React.js for the frontend and Django for the backend. Ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend systems. System Architecture: Design and implement cloud-based architectures using Azure and AWS services. Optimize system performance and scalability. FHIR & Interoperability (20%) Implement and consume FHIR APIs based on HL7 Implementation guides. Map healthcare data to FHIR R4 resources (Patient, Coverage, EOB, Clinical, Provider Directory, Formulary). Ensure compliance with HL7 IGs (CARIN, PDex, US Core) and CMS mandates (e.g., CMS-0057, CMS-9115). Work with architects to integrate FHIR data pipelines into platforms like Firely, HealthLake, or Postgres-backed FHIR servers. Apply OAuth2.0/SMART on FHIR principles for secure access and consent management. Database Management: Design, manage, and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL. Implement data pipelines and ensure data integrity. DevOps & Cloud Services: Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in cloud environments (Azure and AWS). Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features. Provide mentorship to junior team members and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality. Best Practices: Ensure compliance with industry standards for security, performance, and maintainability. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend adoption as appropriate.
