This is not a typical maintenance role. We are looking for someone who can both support existing systems and help build new technology from the ground up. What You’ll Be Working On Oversee and maintain a network of WordPress-based websites Monitor uptime, performance, and security across multiple domains Perform plugin updates, troubleshooting, and light development Launch new websites using structured templates Support SEO-related site performance and technical improvements In parallel, you will contribute to: Development of a new video-based web platform Video ingestion, encoding, and delivery workflows Integration of media systems into web and cloud environments Building scalable infrastructure for video-on-demand applications Core Technical Requirements Strong experience in full stack development Proficiency in one or more of the following: C#, .NET / .NET Core JavaScript (React, Angular, or similar frameworks) HTML, CSS, modern front-end development Experience with APIs (REST, Web Services) Database experience (SQL Server, MySQL, or similar) Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows Video & Media Experience (Highly Desired) Experience with FFmpeg and video processing workflows Understanding of: Codecs (H.264, H.265, etc.) Bitrates, containers (MP4, MOV) Video encoding and compression Experience working with: Video on demand systems Video playback in web environments Media delivery and streaming concepts Bonus Skills (Big Plus) WordPress development and administration UI/UX design sensibility and front-end polish Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) Familiarity with DevOps tools or deployment pipelines Experience with legacy video formats or hardware: VHS, Hi8, MiniDV, analog video workflows Understanding of video capture hardware or signal flow Current AI coding abilities.
