The role collaborates with project managers, designers, and developers to translate requirements into high-quality solutions, implement responsive user interfaces, build server-side services and databases, and execute testing and debugging under project-specific instructions. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications across the full stack (front-end and back-end) using modern languages, frameworks, and engineering practices. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and deliver high-quality solutions. Design and implement user interfaces (UI) with responsive design principles to ensure an optimal user experience across devices and browsers. Build and maintain server-side logic and APIs, ensuring security, scalability, and high performance/responsiveness to front-end requests. Define, implement, and maintain databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and data integrity controls. Integrate front-end and back-end components and third-party services to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality. Perform testing and debugging to validate functionality, performance, and security; support defect triage and resolution. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and quality control (QC) activities to ensure maintainability and adherence to team standards. Support deployment and production troubleshooting as required, including monitoring/log review and incident remediation within agreed engagement scope. Qualifications of professional experience in full stack software development. Strong hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), including building and supporting cloud-based applications/services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, and DynamoDB and/or RDS). Strong backend development experience using Python, including API development and AWS integrations (e.g., boto3). Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with a modern framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue). Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs; understanding of authentication/authorization patterns and secure coding practices. Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance considerations. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of engagement management and stakeholders; ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver to timelines. Proficiency with collaboration and development tools (e.g., Git-based source control, work tracking tools, and CI/CD concepts).
