What You'll Do

We’re looking for a software engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of software for our zero-trust cybersecurity platform. You’ll wear multiple hats in this role – one day you’ll be working on software architecture, the next talking with customers to gather requirements, and then rapidly iterating product features. You’ll be working alongside the CTO to help solve our hardest technical problems and build out the engineering team over time. This is a critical role where you will have a direct influence on the long-term success of Solitude Labs.

What We’re Looking For

BS (MS/PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Computer & Electrical Engineering, Math, or related field
5+ years of software engineering experience (cybersecurity and/or energy industry experience preferred)
Proficiency in Rust (preferred), or C/C++, for embedded and distributed systems
Strong understanding of computer networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.)
Enjoys owning projects end-to-end, from initial architecture through production deployment
Excited by ambiguity and rapid iteration
Motivated to solve difficult problems and work hard alongside other team members
US citizenship
