Full Job Description
Golden Path Energy Systems is building the intelligence layer for physical natural gas transportation, by automating and optimizing natural gas scheduling.

Each year, over $300B+ in natural gas is transported throughout the U.S. alone, and scheduling errors can result in massive financial penalties—especially during volatile market conditions.

We’re building software to reduce these risks, streamline workflows, and bring modern infrastructure to an outdated, manual process. We are looking for a Founding Engineer to help architect and build the core platform from the ground up.

This is a high-ownership, zero-to-one role where you will work directly with the founder to design, build, and launch the product.

You will have a significant impact on:

Product architecture
Technical direction
Early customer deployments
Duties

Build the first version of the platform (end-to-end)
Design scalable backend systems for data processing and scheduling logic
Develop intuitive front-end interfaces for operators and traders
Support first customers with technical needs
Work directly with the founder on product and roadmap decisions
Help shape engineering culture and future team
What We’re Looking For

Strong full-stack experience (frontend + backend)
Ability and desire to build and ship products independently
Experience with modern frameworks (React, Node, Python, etc.)
Comfortable working in an early-stage, ambiguous environment
Designed and built software previously
Bonus:

Experience with data-heavy systems, logistics, or energy markets
Startup or founding experience
Experience with logic based systems
