POSITION SUMMARY The Developer II position is a mid-level role and will be assigned multiple projects at a time. You may be part of a larger project team of Solution Architects and Developers. Within the first 6 months of employment, you will be required to learn Northteq’s products and develop with little assistance from others. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Developing Cloud Based Solutions using the Salesforce.com framework: Javascript, Apex, and Lightning Web Components. Developing APIs to and from other systems: RESTful APIs to other systems. Using the Salesforce declarative functions to build workflow processes. Work closely with other developers and business analysts. Work closely with our many clients. Employee is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or equivalent experience Has a passion for software development. Is eager to learn both new technical skills and industry knowledge. Is comfortable working in a consulting environment and interfacing with customers Can shift nimbly to manage multiple priorities. Has experience in Salesforce front-end development, Apex, Lightning Web Component development, integrations, process and flows, and current SFDC UI options. Salesforce Developer I/II certification is desired, but not required if you can show significant experience in Salesforce development, or extensive experience in OOP/web programming and a passion for learning SFDC. Prior experience working with modern databases is needed. Must have prior development experience in Java, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages.
