This role supports a program that focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, cloud-based solutions within an integrated DevSecOps ecosystem. What You'll Do: Architect, design, and implement web-based and cloud-native applications that require ongoing maintenance and modernization across multiple systems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development teams, system architects, and stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable solutions are delivered through a mature DevSecOps ecosystem. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and optimizing DevOps processes to promote consistency, best practices, and standardized tools. Creating and integrating security solutions within development and deployment pipelines. Participating in major design decisions and providing technical input to system architects. Configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Deploying and supporting containerized applications in AWS EKS Kubernetes environments. Performing RHEL Linux system administration to support application and platform operations. Providing operational support, including security scanning, remediation, and release management. Communicating effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership. What You Bring: You bring a strong foundation in DevSecOps, hands-on technical experience, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience applying DevSecOps principles in production environments. Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines in GitLab (minimum 2 years). Experience deploying containerized applications to AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters (minimum 1 year). Experience with RHEL Linux system administration (minimum 2 years). Experience administering cloud solutions in AWS GovCloud (minimum 2 years). Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/IaC). Working knowledge of YAML, Git, GitLab, and Kubernetes. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Certifications Security+ or Cloud+ certification (required). Nice-to-Have Skills Experience supporting government programs and working within regulated environments is preferred. Familiarity with configuration management and version control tools, experience in Agile or SAFe development environments, and hands-on use of Atlassian JIRA or other defect tracking tools are also desirable. A strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and how to apply them in real-world environments will be beneficial. Eligibility Requirements Must have an active a DoD Secret clearance (required).
