Job Overview

We are building Codius, a groundbreaking AGI platform that requires a highly scalable and secure infrastructure. As our first DevOps engineer, you will be instrumental in laying the foundation for an ecosystem that will eventually span a global, distributed network.

Role Description:You will design and manage our multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring our platform is resilient, secure, and performs flawlessly under the demands of real-time AGI processing. You will be the architect of our CI/CD pipelines and the guardian of our digital infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Architect and manage our cloud infrastructure on OCI and GCP using tools like Terraform.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment process.
Manage container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement security best practices and monitoring solutions to ensure system integrity.
Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize application performance and scalability.
Required Skills

3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or Ansible.
Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
Extensive experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)..
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms including Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud, OpenStack; proficiency in cloud infrastructure management.
Hands-on expertise with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef; scripting skills in Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Perl, Groovy, Python; familiarity with scripting languages like Ruby and Go.
Proficiency in enterprise middleware including WebSphere Application Server, Weblogic Server; experience with Tomcat and JBoss is a plus.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components: DNS, TCP/IP networks, LAN/WAN architecture; network administration skills are essential.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab; version control systems such as Git or SVN are required.
Knowledge of database systems including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle; experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL is advantageous.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic and Splunk for log analysis; ability to troubleshoot software issues efficiently.
Strong understanding of disaster recovery strategies and incident response procedures within distributed systems environments.
