This role combines deep expertise in multi-cloud and virtualization technologies with a strong focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps principles. You will drive the automation and scalability of our global infrastructure and serve as a Tier-3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex issues. We are looking for a well-rounded, customer-focused professional who excels at planning, documentation, and meeting deadlines. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer passionate about Infrastructure as Code (IaC), proficient in cloud-agnostic SaaS deployments, and experienced in both public cloud and on-premise networking environments.   Responsibilities: Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) & DevOps Drive the adoption and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices in a cloud-agnostic fashion across GCP, AWS, and Azure using tools like Terraform and Puppet. Implement and manage a robust monitoring and alerting strategy to maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and ensure system availability. Develop and maintain the configuration management program for SaaS and corporate environments. Program in Ruby, Python, or similar languages to automate complex workflows and eliminate toil. Manage CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and deployment systems. Cloud & Virtualization Engineering Design, implement, and maintain enterprise virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi, ProxMox, KVM, and Hyper-V. Administer and secure core systems like multi-domain Active Directory forests, Identity & Access Management (IAM), SAML, and PKI configurations. Design and configure network infrastructure for cloud and on-premise environments, including switches (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.) and physical datacenters. Handle server hardening, database management, and hardware-level troubleshooting. Security & Compliance Manage firewalls and implement/maintain compliance frameworks. Ensure robust security through proper network configuration and VPN management. Support & Mentorship Serve as the Tier-3 SME for the internal IT service desk, resolving complex enterprise technology issues. Conduct root cause analysis and mitigate escalations quickly.   Requirements: Experience & Education Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience. Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Network or Systems Administration. Certifications: Any relevant System or Network Administration certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS/Azure/GCP, Linux+). Technical Proficiencies OS Expertise: Advanced administration of Linux, Windows, and/or Mac OSX. Cloud/Tools: Hands-on experience with Puppet, Terraform, Chef, or Ansible. Networking: Proficiency in switch management via CLI and isolating complex network problems. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document technical processes clearly. As a remote first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary range for this remote position is $107,000-$136,000 per year, based on skills, experience and qualifications. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
