Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based integrations and backend services. This role focuses on connecting systems across Google Cloud, Zoho, WordPress, and third-party platforms using secure APIs and scalable Node.js services.

You will work with stakeholders to automate workflows, manage data flows, and support a modern cloud-based digital infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Develop backend services using Node.js and RESTful APIs
Design and manage integrations between:
Google Cloud services (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Firestore, Pub/Sub, etc.)
Zoho (CRM, Campaigns, Books, or other Zoho apps)
WordPress (REST API, webhooks, custom endpoints)
Third-party platforms and SaaS tools
Build and maintain secure API connections (OAuth, tokens, webhooks)
Automate data synchronization and workflow orchestration
Manage source control and deployment using GitHub
Implement logging, monitoring, and error handling
Optimize backend performance, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with stakeholders to define system architecture and integration requirements
Required Qualifications

3+ years of backend development experience
Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript
Experience working with REST APIs and webhooks
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
Experience integrating with WordPress via REST API
Familiarity with Zoho APIs or similar CRM platforms
Experience with GitHub and version control workflows
Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, JWT)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with serverless architecture (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run)
Knowledge of databases (Firestore, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience building middleware or integration layers
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with automation tools or workflow engines
Basic understanding of front-end or WordPress development
