Position Responsibilities Development: Develop and maintain full-stack features using Angular (TypeScript) on the frontend and Java/Spring Framework on the backend Write clean, testable code following established patterns and best practices Build RESTful APIs and integrate with Oracle and SQL Server databases using Hibernate ORM Implement responsive UI components using Angular Material, DevExtreme, and Bootstrap Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation Client Support & Debugging  Investigate and resolve client-reported issues by analyzing application logs Review server logs, database queries, and application traces to diagnose production problems Debug issues across the full stack - from Angular frontend errors to Java backend exceptions Reproduce client issues in development/test environments Document troubleshooting steps and root cause analysis Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Provide timely responses to client support escalations Collaboration Work closely with senior engineers to implement solutions and learn best practices Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives Collaborate with QA team to ensure quality standards are met Assist with deployment activities and post-deployment monitoring US Citizenship Required for this position Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) Experience: 0-2 years of professional software development experience Core Technical Skills:   Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming   Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (Angular, React, or Vue)   Understanding of SQL and relational databases   Familiarity with REST APIs and web services   Basic understanding of version control (Git)   Ability to read and interpret application logs Soft Skills:   Strong problem-solving and analytical skills   Excellent written and verbal communication   Ability to work independently and as part of a team   Customer service mindset with patience for troubleshooting   Willingness to learn new technologies quickly Compensation Info The U.S. salary range for this position is $53,000.00-$93,250.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
