Full Job Description
We are seeking an Application Engineer to support the design, configuration, and ongoing success of our mortgage technology stack. This role focuses on supporting Encompass LOS and related third-party integrations while partnering closely with end users, IT, and business teams. You will manage work requests, troubleshoot system issues, contribute to solution design, and build resources that enable users to self-service common needs.

This role plays a key part in identifying current-state challenges, documenting requirements, and implementing effective configurations within Encompass. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their work.

This is a hybrid/remote position reporting to the Director of Software Engineering. A fully remote option may be available for the right candidate. 40 hrs/week

Key Responsibilities

● Provide customer-focused application support with innovative, practical solutions.

● Serve as a subject matter expert for mortgage business processes, system configuration, and Encompass support.

● Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Encompass and integrated third-party systems.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.

● Coordinate issue tracking, vendor communications, and status updates for stakeholders. ● Manage and promote configuration changes across environments, including production deployments.

● Support testing, release management, and change management activities.

● Maintain document libraries, eFolder settings, and support a compliant, paperless environment.

● Partner with vendors on integrations and troubleshooting efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

● Strong knowledge of the mortgage loan origination lifecycle.

● 5+ years of experience administering Encompass LOS.

● Encompass TPO Portal and Next Generation experience preferred.

● Encompass Admin Certification (ICE) preferred.

● Excellent communication and organizational skills.

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

● Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

● Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
