Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Java/Alfresco Developer to join our innovative IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise content management solutions using Alfresco, integrated with Java-based applications. Your expertise will help streamline document workflows, enhance system integrations, and optimize our IT infrastructure. Duties

Develop and customize Alfresco Content Services to meet organizational needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Build robust Java applications and APIs to extend Alfresco functionalities and support business processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Maintain and improve the performance, security, and reliability of Alfresco platforms deployed across cloud (AWS, Azure) or on-premise environments.
Implement DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), automating testing and deployment workflows.
Troubleshoot system issues related to Java applications, operating systems (Windows, Linux), or database connections (SQL, Oracle).
Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development procedures following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
Stay current with emerging technologies in IT infrastructure, APIs, containerization, and cloud services to recommend innovative enhancements.
Qualifications

Proven experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Hands-on experience working with Alfresco Content Services or similar enterprise content management systems.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases (SQL, Oracle), and computer management tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy and manage applications effectively.
Understanding of Agile methodologies for project management and software development processes.
Strong grasp of SDLC processes including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Experience working with APIs for system integrations and automation purposes.
Skills in Python scripting are a plus for automation tasks within the environment.
Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices to support CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
