The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer experienced in regulated cloud environments who can operate across infrastructure, application support, CI/CD workflows, certificate management, and secure integrations. This role requires disciplined execution, strong documentation practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with Government stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain AWS GovCloud infrastructure (EC2, IAM, networking, storage) Manage secure Linux-based environments Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines Execute Git-based branching and code promotion workflows Support secure application deployments across DEV, test, and pre-production environments Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle and secure communications (i.e.g, Venafi, DigiCert) Support REST API integrations and automation scripting Participate in vulnerability remediation and patching coordination Perform operational monitoring and troubleshooting Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures Collaborate with federal stakeholders and partner organizations Perform operational support to databases (e.g., MongoDB, DocumentDB, Lambda, SQL) Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience (GovCloud strongly preferred) Strong Linux systems administration skills Experience with IAM, least-privilege access controls, and secure configuration Proficiency with Git workflows and modern CI/CD pipelines Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates in cloud environments Familiarity with REST APIs and scripting (Python preferred) Understanding of vulnerability management and secure system operations Experience working in regulated federal environments (VA, DoD, HHS, etc.) U.S. Citizen eligible for Public Trust AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate Preferred Qualifications Experience with FedRAMP or NIST 800-53 environments Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM workflows Exposure to automated security scanning tools Experience supporting production cloud workloads in healthcare or public-sector environments AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional Core Competencies Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Operational discipline and change management awareness Clear technical communication Ability to work independently in secure cloud environments Collaborative and mission-focused mindset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $91,254.13 - $139,897.44 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: AWS: 5 years (Required) Language: English (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Required) Work Location: Remote
