API Management (Apigee)

Design, build, and deploy API proxies using Apigee X or Edge
Implement security policies (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, API keys)
Develop shared flows and reusable API policies
Configure quota, spike arrest, caching, and traffic management
Enable API analytics and monitoring
Implement API versioning and lifecycle management
MCP & AI Integration

Design and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations
Expose enterprise APIs securely to LLM agents via MCP
Develop structured tools for AI agents
Build guardrails for secure AI-to-API interactions
Implement context orchestration and prompt routing logic
Ensure compliance and data governance for AI consumption
Python Backend Development

Build scalable backend services using FastAPI / Flask
Develop AI integration services (LangChain / custom orchestration)
Implement async services and RESTful endpoints
Build middleware for authentication, validation, and logging
Optimize performance and scalability
Required Qualifications

5+ years of backend development experience
3+ years hands-on experience with Apigee
Strong Python expertise (production-grade applications)
Experience implementing OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect
Experience building RESTful microservices
Understanding of AI integration patterns
Experience working in cloud environments (GCP preferred)
CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
