Seeking a skilled API Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and integrating backend services. The ideal candidate combines backend engineering excellence with foundational data engineering skills to deliver high‑performing, secure, and reliable APIs that support data-rich applications. Responsibilities: API & Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Python and Java. Implement scalable microservices aligned with enterprise integration patterns. Optimize API performance, scalability, and security. Build reusable components and frameworks for API development. Integration & Data Engineering Integrate APIs with databases, data lakes, event streams, and third‑party systems. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion workflows, and data transformation processes. Work with data engineering tools such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, SQL-based ETL, or cloud-native services (GCP). Ensure data quality, lineage, metadata, and transformation rules are correctly implemented. Architecture & Design Contribute to technical designs, architecture discussions, and solution reviews. Implement best practices in API versioning, error handling, logging, and monitoring. Define and adopt standards for API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger). Advanced AI engineering experience, including building multi‑agent systems using LangChain, LangGraph, and Google ADK with tool‑integrated orchestration. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with product managers, data engineers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint ceremonies. Document systems, APIs, data workflows, and operational runbooks. Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience developing APIs using Spring Boot, Java. Strong knowledge of REST principles, microservices patterns, and API lifecycle management. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.). Understanding of data engineering concepts: ETL, data ingestion, distributed data systems.
