Job Title: AI Developer Company Name: Leadr Job Url: https://www.glassdoor.com/Job/remote-developer-jobs-SRCH_IL.0,6_IS11047_KO7,16.htm?remoteWorkType=1&fromAge=7 Job Description: The Opportunity It's 11:47pm on a Friday. Your roommates are out. You just stumbled onto something — a new model dropped, a build you've been sitting on for weeks just clicked, and now you're three hours deep into something nobody asked you to make. You're not going to sleep anytime soon and honestly, you don't want to. Sound familiar? Keep reading. We're looking for a young, hungry AI developer who lives and breathes systems, automation, and AI driven development— not because someone told you to, but because you genuinely can't help yourself. You're the person your friends text when they want to know what AI tools are actually worth using. You're already building things nobody asked you to build. You just need a platform Who You'll Be Working With You'll work directly with Jordan Schumacher, co-founder and CEO of Leadr — a rapidly growing 8-figure annual speaker coaching company— and co-founder of Remote Cost Seg, a fast-scaling 7-figure financial services business. This isn't a role where you'll sit in a queue waiting for tickets to get assigned. You'll be in the room (virtually) where decisions get made, seeing real business problems in real time, and building real solutions. The projects you ship will go into production. The results will be measurable. What You'll Be Building Your work will fall into two buckets: Personal productivity & intelligence tools — AI-powered workflows, research tools, automations, and agents that help Jordan ndd team operate faster, smarter, and more efficiently. Production-grade business tools — AI integrations and automations that directly impact sales performance and operational efficiency at Leadr and Remote Cost Seg. Think lead qualification agents, CRM automations, outreach personalization at scale, internal AI assistants, and whatever else you can dream up that moves the needle. You'll have access to real data at a significant scale. What you’ll build will be pushing the limit on human-in-the-loop systems. And you'll have the freedom to propose and pursue ideas, not just execute on someone else's roadmap. It is critical that you are proactive at identifying opportunities where AI can be leveraged / software can be built. We have a long backlog of projects that need to be built…but we also know we’re still not thinking big enough. You're the Right Fit If: Your idea of a fun Friday night involves vibe coding a side project and going down a rabbit hole on the latest model release You move fast and break things — and then fix them faster You find it hard to stop working on a problem once you're locked in You're already fluent in tools like Cursor, Claude, GPT-4o, Replit, Bolt, Windsurf, or similar — and you stay current because you want to, not because someone tells you to You've shipped personal projects, built automations for fun, or figured out how to get AI to do something it wasn't designed to do You care about outcomes, not optics This Role Is NOT For You If: You need a detailed task list to get started You're looking for structure, hierarchy, or corporate guardrails You treat AI tools as a novelty rather than a core part of how you work You'd rather look busy than be effective The Stack (Flexibility Required — You'll Learn What You Don't Know) You don't need to be an expert in everything, but comfort with the following will matter: Python or JavaScript basics, n8n / Make / Zapier, OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini APIs, Airtable, HubSpot, Slack integrations, connecting automations via API, and whatever new tool dropped this week. Some experience with web development / landing page design is a plus, but not required. How We Work Fully remote. Flexible hours. Primarily async with Zoom and Slack huddles as needed. This is an output-first culture — we don't track hours, we track results. Compensation & Structure Salary: $40,000 – $75,000/year based on experience Employment: Full-time (open to part time at 20ish hours per week if you have 1-2 other clients and are already working remote. However, NOT open to this role being an “evening side hustle”) Location: 100% Remote 30 / 60 / 90 Day Vision First 30 Days: Get deep context on both businesses. Audit existing tech stack, automations, and workflows. Ship at least 1-2 meaningful projects 60 Days: Own a production-level AI integration at one of the companies. Identify 2–3 high-leverage automation opportunities for CEO or team and bring a proposal unprompted. 90 Days: You're the go-to for anything AI and automation across both companies. You are proactively identifying, building, and improving automations across all areas of the business. Our Culture Move Fast — Speed is a feature. Done beats perfect. Extreme Ownership— If you see a problem, you solve it. Stay Curious — The best people here are always learning something nobody asked them to learn. Ready? If you're nodding along and already thinking of projects you'd want to pitch on day one — apply. Send us a short note on what you've built (personal projects count), what tools you're currently obsessed with, and why this role sounds like your version of fun. We don't care about your GPA. We care about what you've shipped. Apply now and show us what you're made of. Interview Process (Ideal Time To Hire – 7 Days) Application — Short written intro: what you've built, what tools you're obsessed with, why you’re excited about this role Include link to a Loom video + screenshare walking through one (or more) of your favorite projects you’ve built I don’t need a resume - bullet point narrative of past experience + results in a google doc is fine Intro Call — 30-minute conversation with Jordan Paid Test Project — Small, scoped build project to assess real-world skills Offer Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote
