Role Summary:
The .NET Developer is a highly skilled technical professional supporting an existing development project for the District of Columbia. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining real‑time, enterprise‑grade applications using the Microsoft .NET framework. The developer works across backend, frontend, ETL, and application design within structured and Agile development environments.
Required Experience:
16+ years of professional experience in software development.
Proven experience developing enterprise systems aligned with user needs and industry standards.

Technical Requirements:
Strong experience with .NET framework–based development
Proficiency in:
C#
VB.NET
JavaScript
Experience with:
ASP.NET MVC 5
Web API
Responsive web design
ETL processes
Back‑end and front‑end development
Application design and development
Real‑time systems programming
Software testing and quality assurance

Development Methodologies:
Experience working within structured development methodologies.
Hands‑on experience with Agile methodology.
Familiarity with release management techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain technical applications to support end users.
Perform application design, development, enhancement, and upgrades.
Implement and enforce documented development standards and procedures.
Conduct software testing and quality assurance activities.
Perform monitoring, maintenance, and reporting on:
