Job Scope

In this position, you will develop software in .NET/C# and JavaScript/HTML5/CSS. You will join the Company’s Professional Services Department (PSD) Development Team and will work closely with other team members on supporting and enhancing the Company’s projects utilizing the latest Company technologies and tools on the Microsoft platform. The Software Engineer will be involved in all aspects of Software Development Lifecycle.

Job Requirements

• Design and develop new application / components primarily in the C# language within .NET/WCF framework

• Maintain and enhance Company’s existing software

• Perform unit testing

• Contribute to integration testing

• Configure components of existing software modules.

• Assist in the evaluation of third-party software and develop recommendations.

• Follow Company’s source control policies and procedures.

• Assist in development of test scripts and installation programs.

• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.

• Travel to customer site as required.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Experience in the development of new applications and components primarily using .NET/C# and SOAP Web services/REST API within .NET/WCF framework for the backend and React JS for the front-end applications.

• Experience with JavaScript/HTML5/CSS.

• Knowledge of React JS is a plus.

• Analytical problem-solving skills, independent thinking, and writing and communication skills.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.

• Familiarity with Object Oriented Design and design patterns is a plus.

• Competent in other IT disciplines including Microsoft products.

• Understanding of modern software systems both on-prem and in the cloud, especially involving database technologies and web services.

• Awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.

• Ability to self-learn.

• Be self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working individually as well as in cross-functional teams.

• Effective communication both verbally and written in English to a variety of audiences including customers, team members, project managers, and management.

• People and team oriented with clear ability to support same.

• Team player in everyday events.

• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.

• Positive flair for underlying technical issues, demonstrated autonomy, and a real sense of initiative.
